Privacy Summary
HouseKeeping is a local-first household item management tool. The current version does not provide accounts, cloud sync, network uploads, advertising, analytics, or third-party SDKs. Item records, photo URIs, and backup JSON files are stored and managed locally by you by default.
The app only processes necessary information locally on your device when you use local item management features.

The app does not provide account registration or login and does not process phone numbers, identity documents, contacts, location, microphone data, camera captures, or advertising identifiers.
3. Permissions and System Capabilities
HouseKeeping v1.0.0 does not request special permissions such as camera, location, contacts, notifications, microphone, or network access.
When you actively choose a photo for an item, the app opens the system photo picker. The system photo picker is provided by the operating system and does not grant the app permission to read your entire album.
The app only reads the URI of the image you selected in that action. Images you did not select are not read, scanned, or uploaded.
You may choose not to add a photo and can still save item names, categories, locations, quantities, dates, and notes.
4. Storage, Sharing, and Cross-border Transfer
Item data is stored locally on your device by default.
Exported backup JSON files are saved, transferred, backed up, or deleted by you.
The current app does not provide network uploads, cloud sync, third-party analytics, advertising, login, cloud storage, or push services.
The app does not sell, rent, share, transfer, or publicly disclose your item data, and it does not transfer personal information across borders.
5. Your Rights
You can manage your local data through in-app features:
View, modify, supplement, or delete item records.
Export backup JSON files or import backup JSON files.
Delete local app data by clearing data in the app, clearing data through system app management, or uninstalling the app.
Clearing app data does not delete exported backup JSON files or original images in your system album. You need to manage those files in their own storage locations.
6. Minors
The app is designed for general household item management and is not specifically directed at children. Minors should obtain guardian consent and use the app under guardian guidance before entering, saving, exporting, or deleting related information. Guardians can delete relevant item records or clear app data locally on the device.
7. Retention and Security
Local item data is retained until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Please keep your device unlock credentials, system account, exported backup JSON files, and related image files secure to prevent unauthorized access to your device or backups.
8. Policy Updates
If future versions add networking, accounts, cloud sync, third-party SDKs, system notifications, camera access, or other special permissions, we will update this Privacy Policy before release and explain the changes in the app or app store materials. If there are material changes, we will prompt you to read them in an appropriate place.
