Welcome to HouseKeeping. This agreement explains the basic rules, responsibility boundaries, and notes that apply when you use the app's local-first household item management service.
2. Service Scope
HouseKeeping provides offline household item management features to help you record, find, and maintain information about household items. The main features of v1.0.0 include:
Add, edit, delete, and view items.
Record item categories, locations, quantities, weight, capacity, photo URIs, notes, and tags.
View in-app status such as expiration, maintenance, charging, low stock, and inventory status.
Select photos for items through the system photo picker.
Perform local inventory checks, export backup JSON files, and import backup JSON files.
The app does not provide network access, third-party SDKs, account login, cloud sync, advertising, or third-party analytics by default.
3. Usage Rules
You should use the app for real, lawful, and reasonable household item management purposes and are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the content you enter.
You must not use the app to record, save, or distribute illegal content, or content that infringes privacy, portrait rights, intellectual property rights, or other lawful rights of others.
You must not damage, interfere with, bypass, or abuse the normal functions of the app in any way.
When selecting photos through the system photo picker, you should ensure that the images come from lawful sources.
4. Important Feature Boundaries
HouseKeeping is a household item recording and search tool, not a financial asset reporting tool. Fields such as purchase price, quantity, or stock status are used only for household item reference and do not constitute asset valuation, financial statistics, insurance claims, or audit evidence.
HouseKeeping is not a medical, medicine, food safety, or device safety assurance tool. Expiration, maintenance, charging, and low-stock status are displayed in the app based on information you enter and do not mean that an item remains safe, valid, edible, usable, or compliant with any professional standard. You should independently verify the actual condition, labels, shelf life, maintenance requirements, and safety risks of medicines, food, consumables, electrical appliances, tools, and other items.
5. Local Data and Backup Responsibilities
HouseKeeping stores business data locally on your device by default. You are responsible for properly keeping your device, system account, exported backup JSON files, and related image files.
Before changing devices, uninstalling the app, clearing app data, system failures, device damage, or accidental deletion, you should actively export and save a backup JSON file. You bear the risk of data loss caused by no backup, accidental deletion, device issues, system cleanup, or third-party tools.
6. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable beyond the scope required by law for losses or impacts caused by:
Information you entered being inaccurate, incomplete, expired, or not updated in time.
Your failure to independently verify expiration, maintenance, charging, stock, medicine, food, or device safety information.
Your failure to back up local data in time or properly keep exported backup JSON files.
Device failure, system upgrade, app uninstallation, data clearing, insufficient storage, or changes in system permission policies.
Your import of incorrect, damaged, expired, or unknown-source backup JSON files.
7. Agreement Changes
If future versions add networking, accounts, cloud sync, third-party SDKs, special permissions, or other important service changes, we will update this agreement, the Privacy Policy, and permission explanations before release. If you do not agree to an updated agreement, you may stop using the app and export or delete local data when needed.
